Breakfast and lunch are often the only meals some of our most vulnerable schoolchildren eat, leaving many of our children starving during holiday breaks. Senator Hughes wants to help those who are struggling to provide for children during the break, which is why he has partnered with the Share Food Program to connect non-perishable food items from the community.

Donations are being accepted at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21:

ShopRite of Fox Street
2800 Fox Street, Philadelphia, PA (Fox St &, Roberts Ave)

The Fresh Grocer of Monument Ave
4160 Monument Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19131

For those who cannot make it to the events during the day, Share Food Program will also be accepting voluntary donations onsite at Senator Hughes’ community holiday party.

Senator Hughes and the Share Food Program are partnering to serve food at local recreation centers throughout the break. Visit sharefoodprogram.org to find out how you can help our local schoolchildren during the holiday. Your support is greatly appreciated!
