HARRISBURG, Feb.10, 2016 – State Sen. Vincent Hughes will announce a federal grant for a West Philly charter school at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 11.
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers award to Harambee Institute of Science and Technology Charter School is one of 50 the state Department of Education has announced.
The money will help Harambee Institute deliver additional academic, artistic and cultural enrichment opportunities.
