Over 2.9 million Pennsylvanians receive social security, yet Elon Musk has mentioned multiple times that he thinks the program is a Ponzi scheme. He has claimed that the program is full of fraud, but that claim has been proven false again and again.

Enough with Elon’s Lies
When we hear lawmakers and Musk say “there will be no cuts to social security” they are not telling the truth. At Senator Hughes’ press conference, union leaders explained how job cuts and office closures are already having an impact on wait times and the level of service social security recipients are experiencing.
DOGE and the Social Security Administration have announced that leases for 47 Social Security offices across the country will be ended. They have also announced plans to cut thousands of jobs. It’s easy to see how all of these cuts and closures will make it harder for people to access their benefits.
Already, the Social Security website has crashed multiple times this year. And the system that monitors customer service was cut- part of DOGE’s “efficiency” efforts.
Our Voices Will Make the Difference
We must come together as a collective community to let Musk and President Trump know we see what they’re doing, and we will not stand for it.
Social Security provides money that seniors, children, and the disabled rely on to pay their bills, buy medication, and pay for groceries. Social Security is the primary source of income for about 40% of older Americans. We cannot let one unelected billionaire break down a program that millions of Americans have earned and rely on.
