Free Tax Help Available as Deadline Approaches

As the federal tax filing deadline approaches, I’m holding a series of interactive zoom events to help you and your family navigate the tax season and all the new benefits available to you and your neighbors.

For these events, I’ll be working with The Campaign for Working families, an organization that we have worked with before and has helped thousands of local families figure out their finances and get them all the money available to them.

We’re going to discuss the child tax credit, the earned income tax credit, new rule changes, tax preparation locations and understanding your taxes.

The next two events will be this Thursday April 7, and one week later on April 14.
