PHILADELPHIA – Nov. 2, 2020 –
State Senator Vincent Hughes is partnering with Philadelphia Eagles Safety Rodney McLeod and his wife Erika McLeod for a nonpartisan “My Voice My Vote” Jammin’ Bus Tour on Election Day in partnership with the McLeod’s Change our Future Foundation.

The My Voice My Vote initiative focusing on voter activation, voter education, and community organizing. The initiative is will teaming with local partners, Eagles players, and city officials, riding a double-decker bus throughout the city encouraging voter turnout and providing meals to volunteer poll workers. 

“It’s voting time and we need you to get to the polls on Election Day!” Senator Hughes said. “The city of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania figure to be very important in the election, so we are working to ensure everyone turns out and has their voice heard at the polls. I’m grateful to partner with Rodney, Erika, the Change Our Future Foundation and a number of other special guests on Election Day to help get out the vote.”

Change Our Future partners with local community groups, leaders and youth to enhance the mission and direction of the organization and underscore the Foundation’s commitment to building strong families and communities throughout the Philadelphia region.

A limited number of media will be allowed on the bus Election Day. Media may also coordinate with staff to follow along with the My Voice My Vote Jammin’ Bus Tour during the day.
