Noviembre 1, 2024 − Today, Senator Vincent Hughes announced over $16 million dollars in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants for a number of projects throughout Philadelphia and Montgomery County. The grants will fund several initiatives to further develop and grow community spaces in the 7th Senatorial District including the Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia Youth Basketball, and the Urban League of Philadelphia’s West Philadelphia satellite location.
“We have community leaders and organizations who are doing tremendous work to build up our neighborhoods and create spaces that provide education, affordable housing and new economic opportunities for the area,” said Senator Hughes. “These funds are powering their work and the vision we all have for Philadelphia and Montgomery County.”
