Harrisburg – Junio 11, 2018 – Senator Vincent J. Hughes (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) will attend a rally Lunes evening to support the Grandview 5, a group of black women who accuse Grandview Golf Course ownership of discrimination. Senator Hughes will also hold a news conference Martes morning in Harrisburg with other legislators.
The rally is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Lunes, Junio 11 at Dover United Church of Christ (45 West Canal Street Dover, PA 17315). Other legislators, community members and concerned citizens are expected to attend the rally to address the injustice the women endured at Grandview Golf Course in Abril.
Senator Hughes will also host a press conference at 9 a.m. Martes, Julio 12 in the Senate Democratic Caucus Room to express support in the continuing efforts to address the incident from a policy and social justice standpoint. A group of legislators will also attend Martes’s press conference to support the Grandview 5.
