New Voting Machine Demonstration!

It's important to get #SoulsToThePolls, but it's also important that folks know how to use the machine once they're in there! That's why we're launching an initiative to train folks up on these new machines ahead of the upcoming election. We'll be at community centers and churches every Domingo from now through election day, Noviembre 5th. Find out when and where we'll be at senatorhughes.com

Philadelphia is one of the first municipalities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that has new voting machines and Senator Hughes wants to make sure voters know how to use the new machines on Nov. 5.

The senator is partnering with the Philadelphia City Commissioners for a series of voting machine demonstrations under the theme Souls the Polls. At these events, voters can get hands-on experience with the new machines to get familiar with the new technology.

Today is National Voter Registration Day, which is a good time to remind you to make sure you’re registered to vote ahead of the 2019 election. The deadline to register is Oct.7. You can register, check your registration status, get more information about your polling location and more at votespa.com.

For those who cannot make it to the polls, absentee ballots are available now through Oct. 29, and for the first time can be  requested online here.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have your voice heard!
