Invertir en East Falls

Senator Hughes joined Rep. Tarik Khan and Rep. Roni Green to present the East Falls Development Corp. with over $200,000 to help with streetscaping and revitalization in the area. The state funds will be used to add new benches, bike racks, trash receptacles, and trees to beautify the area for community members to enjoy.

Earlier this year, Senator Hughes stood in the same spot to present over $80,000 to the East Falls Development Corp. Those funds were used to install street lighting along Ridge Avenue to improve walkability and encourage foot traffic on the street.

Each grant is an example of state dollars being invested into local communities to improve neighborhoods and make real change that residents can see. Senator Hughes has prioritized advocating for community investments and will continue fighting for funding for local projects.
