As of 2:00 p.m. Sábado, there are 6 confirmed cases and 41 presumed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in Pennsylvania. Of that total, 20 are in Montgomery County and four are in Philadelphia.
Schools across Pennsylvania will be closed until at least Marzo 27, shaking the normal structure we have come to expect. We urge everyone to remain calm and informed on the latest news, as well as what resources are available.
The city of Philadelphia has responded to the crisis and has made meals and safe recreation spaces available during the week. You can find the full list here. Please note that officials are working with local food banks to address weekend needs.

What are the symptoms of coronavirus?
Symptoms of the COVID-19 can include:
- Fiebre
- Tos

The symptoms may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 days after exposure. Reported illnesses have ranged from people with little to no symptoms to people being severely ill and dying.
What to do if you think you have coronavirus COVID-19, according to the CDC:
- Stay home except to get medical care
- Separate yourself from other people and animals in your home
- Call ahead before visiting your doctor
- Wear a facemask if you are sick
- Cover your coughs and sneezes
- Clean your hands often
- Avoid sharing personal household items
- Clean all “high-touch” surfaces everyday
