Help ensure an accurate 2020 Census count, respond today!

Take 10 minutes and respond today to help provide resources for the next 10 years in our community

The U.S. Census Bureau is pushing to end the 2020 Census count as soon as possible, which why I encourage you to respond to the 2020 Census today! Philadelphia, southeastern Pennsylvania and the state at large stand to lose a lot if we don’t get an accurate count.

Pennsylvania has lost FIVE Congressional seats since 1990’s census. That is significant influence in Washington, D.C. and nationally. Philadelphia stands to lose $21,000 for each person who isn’t counted. As a whole, the commonwealth would lose about $2,100 per person. That hurts our schools, our roads, our hospitals, housing access and so much more. Again, we need you to respond today!

Many of the programs that help our people meet their needs are supported by federal funding that is administered by data from the census. An inaccurate count means cuts to critical services and programs that we cannot afford.
