¡Solicite hoy mismo el alivio de la deuda de préstamos estudiantiles!

The Student Loan Debt Relief application is open now through Diciembre 31, 2023.

During my time serving the people of the 7th senatorial district, I’ve been fighting to make higher education more affordable and less of a financial burden for families.

Whether it’s working to launch the Keystone Scholars program, or pushing for the Pennsylvania Promise, I’m committed to finding ways to make sure students get the education they need, in a way they can afford, to ultimately succeed when they enter the workforce.

Unfortunately, affording college can be tough for working and middle-class families, and so many people graduate saddled with student loan debt.

In fact, Pennsylvania ranks number two in the nation for states with the most student debt.

Folks need relief, and thankfully, President Biden is delivering it.

The president recently announced that borrowers can now officially apply for student loan debt relief.

His administration’s plan will help millions of borrowers as they continue to recover from the pandemic and it will help them prepare for loan repayments, which are set to resume in Enero.

Student Loan Debt Plan

The plan will provide up to $10,000 in relief to borrowers with federal student loans and up to $20,000 in relief to borrowers who were Pell Grant recipients.

Borrowers who earned less than $125,000 as an individual or $250,000 as a household in 2020 or 2021 are eligible for relief.

The application takes less than five minutes to fill out. You don’t need to log in with an FSA ID or upload any documents to apply.

This plan will have a huge, positive impact:  nearly 90% of this relief will go to borrowers earning less than $75,000 per year.

40 million people are eligible, and 20 million people could have their federal student loan debt wiped out completely.

Please don’t miss out on this one-time opportunity!

Note:  even though the program is facing a setback right now, you are still encouraged to apply now.
