DETAILS: Scores of leaders from the faith based, social service, arts and culture, health care, education, and economic development communities will take part in a strategy session in response to the $1 billion in cuts that had to be made by the Pennsylvania Legislature in order to achieve a balanced 2010-2011 state budget.“Next year’s fiscal crisis will be worse with a projected $5 billion shortfall that must be addressed,” Hughes said. “If the Legislature is not thoughtful about solving this problem, the impact on millions of Pennsylvanians will be further compounded.”
