Driver Licenses and Motor Vehicles

Internships

Interning for a State Senator is an excellent way to learn about the legislative process, state policy and constituent issues. State Senator Vincent Hughes is committed to providing interns with a positive educational experience. As part of our operations we offer the following Internship programs available throughout the year at both the Harrisburg and Philadelphia Offices. Summer Intern
  • Positions open to College Juniors and Seniors in the following degree fields: Political Science, Business Management, Communications/Media Relations, Journalism, Community Relations
  • Full and Part time positions, May through August
  • Scheduled/Flexible hours are from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm
  • Paid position
  • Duties are commensurate with the department and project to which internship is associated
Academic Intern
  • Positions open to College Freshman and Sophomores in the following degree fields: Political Science, Business Management, Communications/Media Relations, Journalism, Community Relations,
  • Available January through December
  • Scheduled/Flexible hours are from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Positions are uncompensated
  • Duties are commensurate with the department and project to which internship is associated

Work Experience

  • Positions are open to Transitional Work Programs, and Technical Schools
  • Available January through December
  • Scheduled/Flexible hours are from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Positions are uncompensated
  • Duties are commensurate with the department and project to which internship is associated

Community Service.

  • Positions are open to High School Juniors and Seniors
