Harrisburg – June 19, 2019 – State Senator Vincent Hughes (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) was joined by several hundred people at a rally, including dozens of child “lobbyists,” looking to bring 100 percent renewable energy to Pennsylvania by 2050.
The rally, organized by Penn Environment, was a part of 100% Renewable Energy PA Lobby Day 2019. The rally highlighted Pennsylvania’s largest annual environmental citizen lobby day. Senator Hughes is supportive of Penn Environment, its push for 100 percent renewable energy by 2050 and general environmental stewardship initiatives.
