Spring Clean your Financial House!
Senator Hughes invites you to his Spring Series Workshops! The Crisis in Home Ownership workshop will be held on April 29th from 5:30 pm -7:30 pm at the Wynnefield Library located at 5325 Overbrook Avenue in Philadelphia.
Our homes become part of our fabric because they provide the foundation for many great memories over the years. Like everything in life, as a home ages, it begins to show the wear and tear. From heating, electrical and plumbing to energy costs and air circulation, there are a variety of signs to recognize and commonsense checks homeowners can conduct and programs to take advantage of. From home warranty’s, to insurance, to mortgage modifications, to budget billing programs, there is always something to respond to the needs of today’s homeowner. There are also options for unemployed homeowners, those facing home foreclosure and homeowners who owe more than their homes are worth. Come learn more! PECO, PGW and Philadelphia Water Department will also be on hand to assist you with your utility bills.
