Senate Democrats Offer Plan to Create 80,000 Jobs to Put People Back to Work

Hello,

Pa Works PA Works Senate Democrats are fighting hard to create jobs in Pennsylvania.  We’ve offered a plan called PA Works that will create 80,000 jobs annually. Our proposal focuses on creating new business opportunities, rebuilding infrastructure, and job training.

You can learn more by clicking on this link:
http://www.pasenate.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/PA_-WORKS_Oct24_2013.pdf

We desperately need Harrisburg to jumpstart job creation efforts because of our current job situation. Pennsylvania ranks dead last among all of our surrounding states for percentage of private sector employment growth during the same period (see chart below). The second chart shows that Pennsylvania is currently ranked 46th in job creation.

Please contact the Governor at Governor@pa.gov and ask him to support PA Works, the jobs proposal offered by Senate Democrats.

Thanks,
Senator Vincent Hughes
