In response to rising home foreclosures, predatory lending schemes and changes in real estate tax structure, State Sen. Vincent Hughes (D-Phila) invited his constituents to his HOME – the HomeOwnership & Mortgage Education program on Saturday, November 17. The event, which is part of Hughes’ Show Me the Money economic empowerment series, offered information and resources that address a host of issues related to homeownership, tax laws and personal credit/finance.
